I very much love this community. It has all the amenities that i need and it is very clean and quiet. The free food is also very well and convenient
The neighbors are disgusting and loud they leave trash in the hallway and have no regard for others. The steps are still broken in the front of the fifth building.
Overall, I like living at the pointe. Its spacious and quiet, but there could be some improvements. maintenance is not the quickest to come fix things, and sometimes communication between staff is not great. I had to email my emotional support dog paperwork about 3 times until everyone who needed to be aware of it was aware. They charged me pet fees because the correct people were not aware of what was going on.
I have a great experience being a resident of The Pointe. My favorite feature was the pool. I thought the staff was super helpful with transferring my lease to a new tenant which can normally be a very stressful process.
I love the food and the nachos. The staff is very helpful and the maintenance is very timely. I wish there was a community garden though! Thanks
Love having own bed/bath, and w/d in unit. Good condition, around a lot of good restaurants and stores.. bus system not great at accommodating # of students and not great timing
The pointe is a great place for college kids the only problem is the distance but the bus accomadates that. Its farily cheap and the staff is nice the room inspections are kinda of excessive though.
Love the amenities, only complaint is just the location not being closer to campus but it’s super convenient being close to Walmart and other shops.
Love having my own bedroom/bathroom. Room was a little dirty when I moved in but management handled it very well. I love using the pool when it’s open and the clubhouse gym is perfect for me!
Not bad a little over priced. The amenities are nice when the printer is working but I like the free hot cocoa and coffee. The rooms are nice also
Great location, is near all of the restaurants and isn't too far from campus, pricing is a little expensive for what you get especially considering you live with 3 other people, but the rooms and maintenance are pretty nice, living here for 4 semesters
I enjoy living here. There are plenty of amenities for the price, and the location is great. The apartment was a little dirty when we moved in, but it wasn't much trouble to clean.
Love how clean and well-kept the Pointe is. However, my maintenance problems have taken months at times to be answered. Overall, I have loved my experience living here and would recommend the Pointe.
It was a great experience. I enjoyed the environment. Only thing I didn’t like was the CATA bus. It was always late or it would pass me by even when I was running to the stop.
The Pointe is a decent place to live for the price. Compared to other off campus apartments for students, it has great amenities, such as free parking, a washer, dryer, dishwasher, pool, clubhouse, and events to participate in. However, it was very dirty when we first moved in, they seem to always be doing paint touch ups, and it is very moist inside.
Staff are friendly and helpful. When needed maintenance, I received the proper help I needed. However, the apartment needs a little updating.
The Pointe is okay. It’s expensive and far away from campus for the price. The interior of my apartment is very run down. They say they inspect them each summer but I don’t believe that. I chose The Pointe because I get my own bedroom and bathroom.
It's pretty nice here other than the distance from campus. The VE is probably the greatest bus of the ones That go to off campus housing in the area
I have been in a few units at the Pointe and while there have been some issues (to be expected), my overall experience has been good. They offer things that I really look for, e.g. personal bed/bath and W/D in unit.
Hearing problems. Management unable to help. Few people told me one thing and I talk to manager and they said they won’t help me out finding a roommate. Before signing the lease, the management said they would help but when I need it they backed out.
A good spot to be while not being too far from campus. Being close to a supermarket like walmart is enough of an incentive for me! Make use of the bus
the pointe is phenomenal. Great pool area and club house very clean and nice community. Not too far from campus as well i can’t wait to live here again
Overall, the living quality at the pointe is good. The house are nearly the same us the sample house they show us in the clubhouse. The gym and study room are very nice.
Overall a decent apartment for the price. It is in walking distance of Walmart, Trader Joe’s, and a few restaurants. Lots of stores and restaurants on the V line as well
Office staff is friendly and informative, but the apartments are not well furnished. Sink was still dirty and I had to clean it myself. Smoke detector was low battery the other day and went off for 20 min at 1am.
I have lived at the Pointe for two years now and my experience has been great! I truly enjoy the amenities provided along with the great community events.
Overall great community, and great amenities. Higher quality apartments then what you will find downtown, but for the downside of being far away from campus. Biggest issue would be the amount that Pointe Employees come into your apartment, as I’ve already woken up to two employees in my bedroom while I’m sleeping in my underwear at 9am.
It’s a nice setup, not a huge fan of renting an individual room as opposed to splitting the cost of a single apartment, but it’s nice overall.
I love having my own room and my own bathroom. I also like that I can bring a pet if I want to and can use the pool/gym/courts/sauna whenever I want.
I love many things about the pointe. Having my own room and bathroom is my favorite followed by having a bacony to relax. I also enjoy being able to go to the pool and the office for free snacks.
I've had a good experience so far. Whenever I needed something fixed, you guys were always so quick to respond and fulfil my request. I hope next semester is good too.
Location is not prime, but it's not to bad if you have a car. They say the busses run till 2am but not the V, so it takes you forever to get home if you go out and usually end up taking a 13$ Uber.
Here at The Pointe, I love my apartment. I like that I have the privacy of my own bathroom, room and have features like the swimming pool and gym as well as a computer lab
Leasing staff seems to be nice, haven’t had anything faulty in our apartment besides the fact that it was filthy when we moved in and they left us with a broken sofa chair. haven’t had any real issues with maintenance. hard to find parking near our building
Nice quiet most of the time if you don’t like the hustle and bustle of downtown. Close to stores but a little far from campus. Really good place to have a pet as well.
It’s a very nice place to live! Location could just be better. The apartments are kept up very well and Maintenence responds to any requests quickly.
It’s very nice living here, place is spacious, great to have own bathroom, the workers are helpful. Parking is easy but can be hard for visitors to find a spot.
I honestly have very much enjoyed my experience at the pointe and have actually recommended it to others who are planning to go to state college
Great place to live, nice apartments, everyone is friendly. The amenities are amazing and there is always something to do around the complex.
The bus service is great and timely. I love living somewhere quiet and close to the resources of downtown like the WalMart makes grocery shopping sooo easy.
Perfect for 4 people if you don’t mind living a bit farther from campus. Good price for your own room, bathroom, and you get a laundry unit. Each apartment has a balcony or porch so it has a lot of space. Only problem is the distance from campus compared to downtown.
This is a quality place to live for a college student. It might be a little off campus but they provide transportation and the rent is cheap.
The Pointe has very spacious rooms, your own bathroom, and a nice living room and kitchen. The staff there are very easy to deal with and maintenance requests are answered immediately.
I love the pointe! They were super nice about letting me do a 5 month lease next semester and you get so much for the price. I have my own room and bathroom which is rare.
Great place to live, management is quick and does a good job. Clubhouse is always warm and friendly, gym is always clean. Vomputer room very useful
The best environment to live in. It is greatï¼ï¼I love the
apartment. It is big enough to spend time with friends and roommates. The gym is good.
I think the pointe is a really good place to live due to its location and services. The whole community is really friendly and the houses are pretty good.
I really enjoy having my own bedroom and bathroom and made the choice to renew my lease for the next year! I use the clubhouse multiple times a week and love my free coffee.
Expensive but worth it considering the price. Only real problem is that living in apartment twenty forces you to walk for five minutes to reach bus.
The Pointe responds to issues in a timely manner, and provides a living environment similar to that of a hotel. I can always expect to get home and be met with luxury and sometimes nachos.
The only con is my unit is quite far from bus stop. Everything else is good. The maintenance is very quick, usually within a day. Sound proof between rooms is great but between floor is quite poor.
Since living at the Pointe, I have had a great experience. I really like having my own space and kitchen. The ability to escape from campus is also a great bonus.
The amenities here at The Pointe and very clean and easy to enjoy. Maintenance requests get completed fairly quickly. Most of the residents are pretty friendly.
Really nice apartments, great staff, maintenance is quick to fix issues, nice location (near tons of shopping places, restaurants, and only a few miles away from campus), and tons of amenities!
I have had zero issues with anything at the Pointe and have found Wendy and all of the resident assistants extremely accommodating and friendly. After having had many issues with the Bryn nextdoor, and friends with similar issues at the Tremont nextdoor, I was very wary about living here. But every question or concern I have had has been addressed almost immediately. Most importantly, there have been no issues with rent. They are very upfront about what you need to pay, and as long as you pay it, there are no issues. Everyone at the Pointe was extremely helpful in the renewal process when I had several questions. The complex is well-kept and goes out of its way to provide community experiences to residents.
I love it here. I love the separate bathrooms that everyone gets and the fact you have own laundry so you don’t have to go out to do it. It’s great here.
Friendly staff and good at keeping residents in the loop. Although, the constant renovations to the buildings can be loud and inconvenient. I wish they did that over breaks.
Really nice place to live. Apartments are great with your own bedroom and bathroom for a good rate. Close to campus and a bus pass is provided with the service fee which is really convenient.
Apartments are good. Furniture is dated. Walk to bus stop could be more convienent. I enjoy the activity days such as taco Tuesday or popcorn on mondays.
I am definitely glad I chose to live at The Pointe for my first off-campus experience! The community is nice to live in. This location is not too far from campus at all.
Enjoy the community and amenities offered at the pointe. Unlike the downtown area it is never too loud or rowdy. People are kind and respectful when I encounter them at the gym and pool.
The pointe is a great apartment complex that is in a convenient location close to stores, restaurants and campus. The bus system works well and is easy access to campus!
Living in the Pointe has been amazing! Living in an apartment with your own bedroom and bathroom is nice and being provided a bus pass is even better. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. I would recommend the Pointe to anyone.
The Pointe is in a great location, with some great restaurants and shops nearby. The staff is very nice and the clubhouse is awesome. Roomwise, the windows are a little drafty but the apartments are very cozy.
My experience at The Pointe was nothing less than fantastic. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new apartment. This was a amazing place!
I love how friendly the staff is here and my roommate placement has turned out great! Lots of amenities, but I wish the maintenance was better.
Though living at the Pointe isn't within walking distance of campus for class in the morning, the quality of rooms, bathrooms, and overall living standards paired with the convenient shopping location exceeds the need to be close to campus.
I love living here. Staff is super friendly and very understandable. 10/10! I like having my own room and bathroom.
The computer lab is a great place to study and there is always free printing.
It is a very good apartment complex. They have very attentive staff and they care about all of your needs. They also offer good food and I like that.
I like everything so far I just with they would fix the steps because I don't want to trip and fall every time I go to leave the apartment. Other than that it's just stuff that was already here when we moved in, but everything is pretty much okay
Very nice place to live. Safe community with lots of amenities and offerings to their residents. I really enjoy having my own bedroom and bathroom, and the WiFi so far has been great.
The rooms are very satisfactory and there are no problems with it. The o ly reason there aren't five stars is that my upstairs neighbors are extremely loud and were very rude when confronted about it.
I'm loving the community so far, my only issue has been that it seems like all of the appliances are barely holding together and something else breaks like every week.
The Pointe is a nice complex in state college. The work on the place is mediocre, but staff and strong amenities do it well. Overall a fine place to reside.
Beautiful setting and friendly roommates! My roommates and I do enjoy living together and we cook together and have dinner together. Also, we share the food taken from home. However, the fire alarm makes me really unhappy because I don't know why when I was showering one day, it rang!!! It's horrible!!!!!
Love the Pointe! Great community and wonderful living. The ammentities are awesome, pool when it’s warm, indoor basketball court, gym, sauna, they have it all!
Yeah apartment was pretty dirty when I moved in but it has been a pretty good experience so far. I like the pool and complimentary give aways!
I really enjoy this place because of how spacious it is. The only thing I didn’t like was how dirty it was before we got here and all the noise from workers painting.
Good place for a good price. Close to campus and the buses come often. Renovated the gym and it got a lot better. From what I here definitely a lot better than other places around here.
Really nice place and good community. The kitchen has nice appliances, which was a big plus for me. The only problem I have had so far was I had to clean it before I moved in, but other than that it is a really nice place to live.
This is a great place to live. A lot of people live here and they are all very friendly. The staff is very friendly as well and they will help you with any issues you have
I love how convenient the point is located to shopping and transportation to downtown. Also I have had fast responses to my work order requests and the maintenance personnel have been very thorough and have left notes about what was done when they came in while we were out.
The community itself is amazing, the staff and maintenance is really helpful and is always there when we need them. The quality of the apartments isn’t the best but they are good enough for what a college student needs.
So far, Living at the Pointe has been super comfortable, I never regret coming here, the only problem I had personally was the small toilet but otherwise, living here is awesome! :)
Outside of being a little off campus, The Pointe is wonderful. More space than i thought i'd have The amenities (Pool, Gym, Sauna) make living here that much better.
So far everything has been great. The management is really nice and helpful. They answer all my questions whenever I need to know something important.
overall good, a few lighting/furniture problems when first moving in. the pool/clubhouse area is great. I like getting tea/hot chocolate whenever I want a warm drink and going to the gym is very convenient
Big apartment with your own room and bathroom, free parking, pool, free printing and a free bus pass. Buses don’t run very late so it is frustrating
Very nice overall. Everything is good so far. Haven’t had any problems getting from here too campus. Enjoy the pool and the fitness center. The study room is also very helpful.
It’s great. The people are nice, the apartments are great and it’s a fun, safe community that has lots of great amenities. Lots of friends up here!
There are many great benefits of living here, the pool, food and great bus routes. Maintenance requests are answered quickly and efficiently. The only "issue" is the matter of visitors parking, I will we had passes because there never seem to be enough. Other then that, I would definitely recommend living here!
Great place to live. Some things could have been cleaner on move in. At first glance everything looked great but I noticed more and more things that could have been prepped before moving in. The pool and volleyball court are nice additions and it’s great that bus passes are provided.
Absolutely love it. Spacious and clean. Maintenance very on top of service orders. Buses run very well to and from campus, and for the most part is always on time.
It's a five-minute walk from walmart and other supermarkets. The bus station is right next to the apartmentï¼The environment is good, too. The interior is well equipped.
It is amazing living here. The quality of the apartment and the included furniture is impeccable. The staff is very friendly and makes me feel important. I recommend the Pointe to everyone.
nice apartments, individual leases and great amenities! buss pass is included and convenient. comes furnished. appliances could use some updating.
Deffiently a 5 start. It's always clean and quite here so it's very ideal for s college student. Rooms are actually spacious and individual bathrooms are the best
The apartment when we first moved in wasn’t cleaned or painted all that well. There needs to be some kind f inspection after the cleaners and painters do their work. The washer flooded out kitchen, other than that the facilities are nice.
Pretty good, staff is responsive, just some things in the appartment are meh but in comparison to other places it’s pretty good. It is a little pricey but you also have access to a gym, pool, volleyball court and game room
nice student living, own room and bathroom, staff is nice, kinda far from campus, but sometimes that's a good thing... lot of retail options
The amenities at the pointe are a definite upside. I have used the gym multiple times as well as the printer. The only actual complaints I have revolve around the community transfer policy. Having a "quota" for community transfers is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever seen from an apartment complex. Not all of your residences are your typical college age resident and can go home to mom and dad in between semesters.
My experience at the pointe has been different. I love having my own bedroom and bath but the only default is the maintenance. For a simple task maintance will take almost 1 week to come and fix it.
Location, and bedrooms great! Although we Wish we had better electronic appliances. The washing machines are super old so it gets hard to wash clothes
I like living off campus, it's different than what I'm used to everyday. However, a few maintenane requests had to be put in immediately after move-in, as I had a clogged sink, a couch with springs starting to spring up, and wasps getting between my screen window and glass. Otherwise, it's pretty nice.
I love living at The Pointe! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The maintenance team is quick to fix any problems in my apartment, and the lease price covers an abundance of amenities.
So far everything's been good but unfortunately my entrance key-card is not working decently. I have been to the office at least 10 times already to let them recode my card. Not the most convinient thing to do.
The Pointe has good rate among all apartment complexes in State College. Supportive and helpful staff members. The quality of the apartment is very nice and convenient
The Pointe is great! The apartments are homie, the location is close to places, and the club house and pool are so convenient! The bus passes are also a plus.
Living at the pointe has been not only convienient (includes a bus pass for transportation to and from campus), but has made me feel like I have a home at Penn State.
The pointe is an interesting place. It’s quiet and not to bad. Community is good, and walk to say Walmart isn’t to bad. The pointe has something for you to do whether it’s working out, to basketball, to volleyball.
I just moved in and move in was easy and smooth and I have great roommates. However it is clear that my apartment had not been cleaned from the previous tenent and I spent about an hour scrubbing my bathroom and sweeping the common area.
The staff is always willing to help you when you go into the office and they always make sure that you are getting what you need. Then they have activities and events that engage you with The Pointe community.
This place is pretty good for its worth. You get your own room and bathroom, while the living area and kitchen is usually shared between you and a couple of roommates. There's also a public gym and computer lounge for residents to use. A bus pass is provided free of charge to get to and from campus.
The policies suck but living with my own room and bathroom and separate rent bills is honestly the only reason I’m living here for two years.
Pointe is good location, wish the office were a bit more flexible in meeting needs. Also washing machine and some appliances are outdated considering the rent we pay
The Pointe offers a lot of things that are amazing. For example, everyone getting their own personal bedroom and bathroom is a huge plus for me. This way you have a private area that you can make your own. Another thing that is great is the washer dryer in the unit. This makes laundry SO much easier. Overall this is a great place to live.
The staff at the Pointe are fantastic individuals! They are cooperative and willing to help you in any way possible. The apartment complex was also reasonably clean and quiet.
My experience at the point has been great. The amenities provided by the point are great, such as the pool and the volleyball court. Happy to live here!
I had a great experience living at The Pointe. I think it is a perfect place to be if you are looking for clean and quiet. The complexes are very nice.
Trade off to location is that it is near all the groceries and great places for food. My main complaint is that they have a weird path from the parking lot in front of the club house to the parking lot by building 5 & 6. Should just be paved, it looks awful and people drive over it anyways, makes no sense to be driving around 6 buildings internally when my building is on the street
I like the sense of community that comes with living at The Pointe Apartments. Free parking is hard to come by in State College, so that was a huge bonus.
Great place to live. Away from the noise of campus and downtown and walking distance from grocery stores. You get your own bedroom and bathroom which is great amenity.
The Pointe has a very friendly staff. They are always very attentive and are prompt with helping. The pet policy is very good and the facilities are very clean.
My experience at the pointe was near perfection. The apartment setup is individualized, and comes with all of your needs! I would recommend anyone to live here because of the staff and students.
The staff is friendly but can be very rude at times. This place is okay. I think it’s a bit pricey for what you is available to you. The building is very far from the bus stop and walking up 3 flights of stairs is healthy but not fun, especially with groceries.
The Pointe has a very beach-like feel to it due to the colorful buildings, the pool, the grill, and the volleyball court. Though these features work to build a sense of community, it is still nice to live in a place where you have the privacy of your own room and bathroom.
It is really well maintained and at a really good location, with just a 5 minute walking distance to Walmart and Megabus Stop. The bus stop is right outside the apartment complex as well.
The pointe so far has been pretty good. I only moved in last year and I will be moving from a 2 person to a three person apartment in order to save some money.
I really enjoy living here. Great location geographically. Not many places have private bathrooms AND in-unit laundry. Built-in bus pass and cable help make up for the steep rent.
Friendly staff and location is convenient convenient, both for shopping and getting to campus. The units could use some updating to the appliances.
Great place to live! Very nice to have your own room and bathroom. Very convenient location to campus if you have a car because the bus is a pain.
I lived here for 3 years in a 4 bed/ 4 bath and over all it is not a bad place to live. Rent is a bit high but other than that it is great !
Good place for a good price. Close to campus and busses come often. Renovating a lot so it will be even better. Host lots of events throughout the year and is deffinetly better than some other places around.
I love how spacious my apartment is, I was able to move my room around and redecorate. Whenever I have a problem, I call maintenance and they quickly resolve it.
Very good overall. The neighborhood is safe, roommate matching system is good, fair price, the staffs are really nice, and the location is pretty good too.
everyone is so nice and friendly. The roomates I had were perfect. We never had any noise issues, and the staff are always timely when we needed any services.
I love having my own bathroom. This is a huge plus compared to other apartment complexes in the State College area. I also like winning rewards!
It was pretty dope. I saw zombies and tigers came from the forest to tell me stories of the land of milk and cookies. Bottom line, their service is cool
The community is nice but so many things break in this apartment we pay far to much money for this apartment to be falling apart. Honestly other then that was not a bad experience living here
My overall experience at The Pointe was really good. A great community with a great staff who take care of the residents. The amenities were always well maintained. In addition, The Pointe always offered free food and fun events to make the living expirence even better.
Great apartment complex for a great price. The clubhouse and pool are awesome, great places to hang put with friends. The staff is nice and helpful too.
The quality of living here was medium-high (7.5-8). However, the unexpected fees for paying utilities and rent insurance were a nuance. Management does a good job of solving student’s problems.
I have really enjoyed living at the Pointe! The amenities are great! During the week the staff provides some snacks in the office for residents. I have already signed my lease for the upcoming school year.
It's been a good experience. When you start taking advantages of what they offer and meet people around, it becomes better. Loving the gym, and specially the basket cort.
The pointe is an ideal place to live if you’re looking for a convenient location to campus and stores. The community is very peaceful and quiet and has a lot of new amenities being built
The pointe is a great place to live. I really love living there. Great people and great environment. Can't wait to move in in the this fall.
The community is well kept and maintained. The Apartments are a little dirty when first moved in, a good cleaning is all that is needed. Maintenence is quick on repairs.
Not too bad at all. I enjoyed living here for three years and will be moving out now. Internet was kind of slow but overall the experience was not too bad
The people above me are very loud. i wish that the walls were a bit thicker. I also wish that there was more parking and visitors parking because it is always full and hard to find a spot
The Pointe is a great place to live for undergraduate students like myself! When I first got here the CATA buses are very convenient because it runs every 20 minutes on week days.
Things have slowly been improving, which makes it better. Before, it took forever for maintenance to respond, but they've been awesome lately. Unfortunately, the women in the office don't seem too thrilled, and it shows. It makes us uncomfortable to enter the office. Otherwise, things are improving.
This apartment is a nice break from campus. Having my own room and bathroom is an obvious plus. Ain’t no twin beds out here! Plowing/shoveling sucks. Should pave the weird cross between the lot in front of the club house to buildings 5, 6, and so on
The Pointe has great amenities and having your own bedroom AND bathroom is awesome. The apartments are nicely kept inside and maintenance is always willing to help out!
The Pointe really is an awesome place to live. Especially summer because of the incredible pool but the entire clubhouse is net. I always liked how clean and quiet it was there.
This place has a nice exterior, but once you peel it back, it gets bad. They treat you like you don't matter. They take weeks to answer your maintenance requests. They make you feel belittled when you want help. If you want to live here, pray that your apartment never gets an issue after syllabus week, and don't bother with the office unless you absolutely have to. Nice gym though.
I have enjoyed for the most part my time at the Pointe. One of my biggest concerns is that I have reported about neighboring residents smoking near my apartment and leaving their cigarettes all near my apartment. The inside of the apartment is great and I have had no problems inside since I have been at the Pointe!
I toured the apartments for next semester at school, and I cannot wait to move in. Everything looks in good shape. Maintenance and staff are very kind which is very reassuring.
My first year was good. I moved in in a clean apartment and maintenance was quick to respond when requested. However, my second year, I moved to a different unit and one of my roommates just renewed his lease from the year before so the common areas were not cleaned.
Paula Mae P.
Overall, the Pointe community is great. There are plenty of amenities for a pretty great price. I did not rate it five stars because when my roommates and I first moved in, the apartment was not clean and the paint job was not the greatest, but that didn't surprise me since our rent was not too bad for having our own bedroom and bathroom. They have recently updated the computer lab, gym, and are adding other ammenities. I would renew my lease if I wasn't graduating this semester.
The pointe is a great place to live in state college. It is relatively close to campus with a bus system to take you to campus and downtown.
The Pointe is a great neighborhood. Maintenance comes almost automatically, and the staff is always ready to help. I also love the 24 hours on call service that they have, because I get locked out of my apartment at random times.
The pointe resident provides a peaceful and friendly environment perfect for college students. The service and facilities that it provides is beyond exceptional
Had a great time living at the Pointe. Only compliant would Elawuit. Terrible internet and the cable would go out randomly. Other than that everything else is fine.
I love my bedroom and the balcony provided to us. Maintenance is quick to help and the staff is very kind and professional. I wish EDR management had more leasing options.
My experience with the pointe apartments at state college have been everything that I could have wanted. The community here including the staff are perfect!
The apartment itself is a lot better than you'd expect, with each person having their own room and bathroom. Living space is shared, though that's not really a big issue. Otherwise, there isn't too much incentive to join in on any community activities, so you can make your circle as big or as small as you want.
It’s a great apartment. You get your own bedroom and bathroom. There’s a clubhouse with a gym. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well.
It is so great here and the staff is super great because they are very involved and host great events at the main building.
I love having my own bathroom.
The Pointe is a great place to stay! The rooms are cozy and comfortable, the clubhouse is great, the pool is perfect for those days you need to relax, and its in such a great spot locally!
Good overall experience. Friendly and helpful staff. There were a lot of appealing amenities such as the gym, basketball court and pool area.
I love living at the pointe. They offer so much like a pool and gym and study room. And you get your own privacy in your home. They also offer free parking for your visitors!
quiet, nice quality and community, reply to maintenance really fast, could improve furnitures, hope can provide mail lockers for UPS not just for USPS
I truly enjoy staying at the Pointe in State College. Overall, the community is nice and up-kept. I appreciate the fact that the staff is so helpful and respectful. So far, if i had an issue it always has been solved.
Nice way to get away from the crowded downtown area. Reasonable price for all amenities provided to us. Parking is free but around certain areas there isn’t many spots.
The room was dirty when we got here but that was because our roommate had lived her the year prior. Maintenance is always very timely. The volleyball courts are awesome my friends and I use it all the time.
The Pointe is a great place to live they offer free snacks on Tuesday nights (nachos or hot dogs), offer on the go breakfast by the bus stop and I love that they have an outdoor pool. The staff is really professional and nice. The only thing I wish they had were elevators because I live on the third floor and bringing everything up two flights of stairs is not what I want to do all the time I grocery shop.
I have had such an amazing experience. The roommate match system worked perfect, and I love that we all have our own room and bathroom. I wish that our hot water tanks would last longer. I could not ask for anything more from the Pointe. You guys are great.
I have been living here since Junior year and am generally satsified with my experience. Maintenance is one of the best. They are very helpful and fix the problem within a day or two. They also have free food during the week in the clubhouse. The location is great.
Good place to live. Close to campus and the bus pass is provided. Has a good gym for apartments and the rooms are nice for the price. Basically everything is what you would expect it to be.
With an upcoming remodeling of the club house I'm excited to see how the few things that could be fixed are indeed improved. I enjoy the perks that the Pointe offers, so I'd recommend this place, especially with their referral deals.
Apartments need to be maintained in better condition. Maintenance is pretty good.
Icy sidewalks should be cleared to a better extent.
More meatball subs events!
I really like how the pointe offers a shuttle to campus at different times of the day/night. This makes it very convenient to get to class. A+ quality
So far, I really like living here. The location is very convenient.
Maintenance is good as well. Really quick respond.
The amenities are nice as well
The Pointe is great, I made a lot of friends their and the staff is very kind and helpful. The complex is well managed and the pool is a great amenity.
The pointe is a great community to live at if you're looking for somewhere close to walmart or any grocery store. But it is a bit inconvenient to go to campus and it is too expensive.
Great place to live. Rooms just the right size. Nice pool and other amenities like the work out room and game room. They even stood outside and provided breakfast for tenants at the bus stop.
Excellent staff and location. First-rate amenities and great neighbors. Only downside: limited parking. I have lives here about 2 years and I love it.
I love it here. I love my apartment. The only complaint I have is that my upstairs neighbors like to stomp 24/7 and it drives us all bananas
I have ya d a great experience living at the pointe! It’s comfortable, they’re quick to help you with any problems, and on top of that it’s beautiful!
I really enjoy living at the pointe. There are so many amenities that if we need anything its usually there. I just wish the staff was friendlier and apartments were cleaner upon move in.
I am happy overall with my own personal experience in the community, but it gets a little noisy at times--not at the fault of the apartment complex. I also am not the biggest fan of the decision to use swipe cards as keys. I would much rather prefer a physical key and lock as I feel it is more reliable and easier to keep track of.
I’ve enjoyed living here and have had nothing but pleasant interactions with office staff and property managers. They are quick to reply and make processes as simple and streamlined as possible.
Everything here is a great exprience. Especially the friendly neighborhood. People never party that much like other places. It is quite and safe. A great place for off campus housing.
The Pointe is very clean and fun. There's plenty of privacy and activities to do as well as quite places to study. I think The Pointe is cool
Some of the maintenance requests like our kitchen light takes a long time but most of the maintenance is fast. Sometimes things break or are sub par but are still manageable and work. It’s a good amount of space so i like it.
The Pointe was pretty understanding when I wanted to move apartments and they allowed me to do it as soon as possible. The workers are very kind as well.
This is a great place to stay at. convenient location (Walmart, Trader Joes, Bestbuy, etc. etc.) and buses come to and from campus very frequently.
The Pointe has good living conditions and has a good range of facilities available for residents such as a gym, study room with accessible computers, and an indoor basketball court.
The community overall is welcoming, and the apartment complex itself initiates fun events for tenants. However, one complaint on my end is that some other tenants above my apartment are extremely loud and jump around because they "exercise".
It is always clean, maintenance is fast, and my problems are quickly resolved. The apartments themselves are nice and provide adequate climate control.
So far my experience at The Pointe has been above average. Because I have never lived in another apartment I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. Among the few complaints I do have is that I feel as though maintenance isn't always the best and the community isn't as connected as it was made to seem.
Sauna needs to be built and computers in study room should be able to support Google Chrome, some do but not all. Dog litter stations need trash bags replaced as well.
Maintenance is very timely. The apartment is nice for a college apartment. I wish for the pet policy you only had to pay the 200$ and not have to pay the monthly fee as well.
The room is cold and dry. Some parts a little bit old and need updates. However, I enjoy its location, gym, and the bus stop. I signed up for the next year lease
The Pointe amenities are great and always in good shape. It is farther from campus, but with the free parking spaces and free bus pass, it is an easy commute.
I have had a wonderful experience as a Pointe resident. I was frequently in the office in and out with random questions and was always treated with such manners and timeliness. They really are great at responding to your needs and questions quickly.
The pointe is a good place to live in state college. I think it is convenient to have your own bedroom and bathroom as opposed to other complexes.
The apartment was dirty when we moved in, but after that, anything that needed to be fixed was quickly fixed by maintenance. The Clubhouse is nice.
I like here since I can do exercise whenever I want and I like the food that is offered by the office. Also, the bus stop is pretty close so it is easy to go to school.
It’s very nice to stay at Pointe community for two years at state college. Some emergency situations the staff and maintenance team handled out
Nice getaway from campus, helpful staff, quick maintenance response, convenient to local restaurants. Snow clean up could be better, they don’t really show up till about 10 an after snowfall and only shovel steps up to second floor, not to third.
My experience was ok.. I had a bad roommate which didn't help my experience. Overall the pointe was accommodating. I enjoyed that we had a gym.
Great place to live, friendly community and the staff in the office is always helpful and quick to answer questions. The free food is always a plus, too!
Very impressed with how kindly I have been treated so far, and am very excited to move in this summer. Very positive experience so far, and I recommend to anyone looking for a place to live at University Park.
It's a nice place to be. It is about a 35 min walk from campus, but the bus is actually very easy to get on if you plan for it.
The apartment is just what I need. You also get opportunities for free food and snacks.
I really enjoy living at the Pointe, it has been a wonderful experience thus far and I totally love having my own bathroom and a full sized bed
The pool located in the club house is where I spent my days during the warm weather. Its always clean and relaxing. The gym is located in the perfect spot with easy access day or night.
So far I have had a fairly decent experience at The Pointe. My favorite thing has to be the events that have been held. The free food, poker night, volleyball tournament, and finals week prep really gave a sense of community to the complex. Additionally the maintenance crew has been quick and reliable with our problems. My one gripe is that the apartments could have been cleaned better in between different residents moving in and out, however there was nothing that we could not handle on our own as far as cleaning goes.
the apartments are excellent. great privacy with your own room and bathroom. the shared spaces are spacious and i love that every apartment has its own washer, dryer, and balcony. the free food the office provides is also a nice touch
Everything is always kept clean throughout the complex. Snow removal could be a lot better but landscaping in the summer/fall is excellent. The amenities are awesome!
I have lived at the Pointe for a little over 4 months now and I love it! The apartment itself has been great, and there are a lot of opportunities for community involvement that make it a great place to live!
Overall, I like the experience I have had the the pointe. Everything has worked well since the day we moved in and the price was good. The only bad thing was it was NOT cleaned when we first moved in.
The noise levels are a little high but over all a great experience, the daily free food in the main lobby is awesome and they throw great events
The living experience is very good. The staff is friendly and the maintenance requests are responsive. Overall it’s a very good place to live.
Been really good so far. My friends are here so that's nice. People here are nice. There is a place for me to park. There is a towing service that wants to each car.
The Pointe is a quality living experience for the State College area. The apartments are spacious and convenient. Separate, locked rooms are secure. Maintenance is timely.
Very Friendly environment with awesome staff! There is a clubhouse to do workouts so you do not have to come to campus, and maintenance requests for issues in the apartment come by very fast
The apartments are nice, but the staff seems very unorganized. It takes forever yo get a hold of maintenance, and sometimes they never respond. Snowing? Don't count on the sidewalks being done.
Parties and Free foods.
It's nice that it is placed just next to the Walmart complex, so grocery shopping is easy; Best Buy and other shops are close. Also, they give you a bus pass.
I have lived here for 7 months now, the community is great and the location is perfect! The staff is very nice and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to live.
I enjoy the Pointe very much. Whenever you submit maintenance requests they're very timely and nice if you accidentally lock yourself out of your room. The almost-weekly free food is great, too. The on-site facilities are very nice as well. However, the only thing I didn't like was the cleanliness of my room upon initial arrival. Overall, very nice.
Everything here is just how i expected the only issues i have had are the ones due to wifi connection. The WiFi here is not the best but everything else is great. Maintence is extremely friendly and helpful when they get to you.
Great living at the pointe was great. I lived here for two years and enjoyed it a lot. I had some very nice roommates and my time here was very enjoyable.
Apartment complex is very understanding and accommodating to one's needs. The only complaint is that the apartment could be cleaner when I moved in.
It has been okay so far. I like having my own space which most apartments do not offer. Maintenance does not take too long to come fix things so that’s good
The apartments are very cozy and have everything a college student could need. Only downside is there is a small draft from the windows. Everything is very close and the clubhouse is great.
Moved in to a place with a ton wrong, my complaints go unnoticed. Price is good though for a solid apartment. I wouldn't discouraged anyone from moving here.
The pointe is a nice place to be at, i like that i have my own bedroom and bathroom, and the fact that theres a free coffee machine in the clubhouse
Pros: you get your own bedroom and bathroom; pool; good furniture and space for the price; i liked that they had a roommate matching service which I used successfully last semester to find my great roommates
Cons: buses can get backed up sometimes; farther from campus; electricity/gas bill is higher than told
The Pointe has many events and has free food often. Sometimes maintenance doesn’t fix what you would like them to. But the busses to campus are regular and always full.
It’s been a good ride so far, i live with three other people and it has been much better than I expected, since 4 is quite a mumber. The service is good and although they have old furniture it was kept in good conditions
I am very pleased with The Pointe. I love all of the community events the company offers, including, but not limited to, the complimentary Nacho Tuesdays And Weenie Wednesdays. Also, the staff is always so friendly and willing to help. Every time I have put a maintenance request in, the issues are attended to within a reasonable amount of time.
If you're looking for a fun and exciting living experience in State College, look no further than The Pointe! We have amped up the apartment lifestyle by providing our residents with an interactive boxing machine, indoor basketball court, sand volleyball court and pool parties like the city's never seen! Our residents enjoy a carefree rental package that covers cable, internet and furniture, so they can focus on their studies or enjoy cheering on Penn State Men's Hockey while our attentive management staff takes care of the details. Did we mention that we're just 5 minutes from Pennsylvania State University? Close enough to get to campus on our express shuttle but separated just enough to enjoy the privacy of off-campus living.
Iv had a good experience so far. I renewed my apartment a third year in a row and then I will graduate. The only problem is the buses but thats out of the pointes control.
I love having my own room. This complex is amazing. The parking situation is great. The furniture is all nice and the people are prompt with helping.
I've lived in a 4-bedroom apartment for the past year and a half. The apartment is pretty big and comes with plenty of furniture. Rooms all have full-sized beds, a full closet, dresser, desk, and chair. When I first moved in, the apartment was filthy. They claim they clean the apartments before you move in but that definitely was not the case here. When we called to complain, they sent some cleaning people who did not really do much anyway. My roommates, our parents, and I had to completely clean the place before moving anything in. While living here, maintenance has been pretty responsive; however, don't expect them to try to fix your washer/dryer when something is clearly wrong with it. Ours has ruined several of our clothing items. The AC/heating unit does not cool down/heat the apartment evenly. Two rooms are always too hot and two rooms are always too cold. This could be due to the doors' and windows' terrible insulations. You can feel the cold coming in just sitting and standing near a window/door. Also, during the summer (while we weren't living in the apartment) they automatically kicked on the AC for whatever reason, causing our utilities bill to be pretty expensive even though we weren't even living there. The pool area is nice. The gym is decent but could be bigger. They used to have a tanning bed, but never replaced it when it broke which was disappointing. They give you a bus pass which is nice, but the CATA bus system can be inaccurate sometimes. There is guest parking spaces, but not nearly enough. There are way too many resident parking spots, which they could easily turn into guest parking. It's a decent place to live if you're looking for a quiet place away from campus and downtown distractions. They definitely need to do some work to fix of the apartments (walls, floors, crown molding, and CLEAN!!)
Apartments are nice but a little too expensive. Sometimes they have fun things in the clubhouse like casino night. Maintenance requests are usually completed pretty quickly.
The Pointe is a pretty good place to live. The buses run often enough so you can get to campus or downtown when you need too. There are also stores and restaurants within walking distance of my apartment.
My roommate and I are very happy with the new apt. we were given. The new place matches all of our criteria and requests. Thank you so much!
Really nice place but the VE busses can be a pain. It’s nice having my own bedroom and bathroom. Maintenance staff are quick to help out when needed.
I love it here. Waiting for the bus kinda stinks. But great facilities, especially the gym, love it!! The pool is beautiful. Love how the rooms and living space is set up
Living at the pointe has been amazing! Management has been helpful with every question I have, every problem I have, and is quick to find solutions to problems within the community.
I love it here at the pointe apartements. I am very close to the bus stop and the lobby area. I like these things cause they are very convienient
It is a cozy community at the pointe. Not too loud or quite. I’ve never had problems with neighbors, and the do a swell job with community activities.
The pointe is a cool place. its great having your own bedroom and bathroom. the only thing that sucks is the wifi is terrible and there is barely any visitor parking.
The quarterly inspections are a little too much. I am unconformable with people checking my apartment, I don't think adults should be treated that way.
The only downfall is the keys are like hotel keys and if you leave it near your phone it deactivates. So it's just annoying if you come home late and try to swipe in and it doesn't work.
Friendly staff, good buildings, nice to have own bedroom and bathroom, convenient location from campus and near stores like walmart, nice parking
Pro: close to walmart, bus stop, community pool, gym, table tennis table, overall friendly staff, hot dog on occasions.
Con: too crowded bus stop, really thin wall and ground, sometimes noisy.
Lots of things to make residents feel special. such as the free food during the weekdays or the special events. even just having the clubhouse is nice.
I love the perks that the Pointe offers. And now that there the complex is pet friendly it's even merrier. There are only a couple of things that I'd suggest changing, more visitor parking spots, trash cans in the public areas and walking paths, better quality cable, the signla for the TV channels, fluctuate and are very inconsistent in some important channels, like ESPN, and replacing the chairs at the computer lab.
It is pretty nice, but some apartments are dirty upon move-in. My apartment was not extremely dirty but still required some cleaning in order to comfortably live there.
For the most part the community surrounding me is pleasant and I haven't had very many issues. The only issue i've had is our neighbors upstairs being excessively loud.
It’s a quite complex perfect for people who don’t like the crowds of craziness of down town. Maintenance is the best and come almost as soon as you send out the request!
they said they would fix stuff and never come. Left a wet dirty plunger on our living room floor. Place was dirty moving in. But you win some and you lose some
I moved to Penn State this fall, and I came to The Pointe. It was not my best experience, but I thank God anyways. I received the apt not in good condiction. The water quality is not the best. I have to buy mineral water every month even to cook. So, my experience is not 100% good.
Really comfortable stay overall. Started here last year. My friends and I love the atmosphere here off campus. Would recommend to prospective residents.
I absolutely love it here, it is very spacious and there are plenty of amenities. The individual lease option is great. The only thing is that it is far from campus. I would recommend adding studio apartments.
For the price, this apartment experience is pretty good. Having your own room and bathroom, a nice kitchen, and a washer and dryer in each unit is so convenient and important to a great living experience. The unit has pretty much everything you need to be comfortable, and the design is modern so you feel good about where you're staying.
I love living here for the most part. Maintenance can be a pain sometimes because there’s no way to know when they’ll be here to fix a problem. Other than that it’s great living here.
No problems. Could use more recycling/ a better recycling system. Occasionally the noise levels are too much, however it isn't that back and is only on the weekends. Although I do not care for the constant radio playing at the clubhouse.
The apartment is okay. There are little problems when it comes to needing fixes and when there is, things usually get fixed right away. The only bad thing is the trash that is left around in the grass, etc, and not cleaned up.
Lyndsay Monica P.
My experience at The Pointe has been both positive and negative. There are so many things that need improvement. I do admire the staff's eagerness to find creative ways to integrate the community.
good apartment community, great apartment community, excellent apartment community, wonderful apartment community, good apartment community.
The apartment is clean and modern compared to other apartments in the area. Maintaine always answers requests within a few days and the office staff is helpful
I have a had a nice experience at The Pointe. I wish their was more kitchen counter space but besides that, I have no complaints. Maintenance is good!
The Pointe is a nice place to get away from the sometimes busy and chaotic downtown apartments. There are lots of amenities and it comes at a competitive price. The only draw back I have found so far is the initial state of the apartment when we moved in. It was filthy and our dryer didn’t even work
If I had to choose where to live off campus again, I wouldn’t choose anyplace else. The Pointe has been a great place for my roommates and I to stay.
While the maintenance crew needs to step up their game and there are occasionally problems with the apartment, the pointe is in my opinion the best place to live on vairo boulevard
If you don't wanna live in crowded place, the Pointe is the place to live. You'll get a gym, a bus pass and fairly good apartment space. They also have free food sometimes.
The Pointe has fun and special activities on some weekends that get community members involved. I also like that they have popcorn Fridays and other events and giveaways.
The rooms are very spacious, the beds are extremely comfortable. The private bathrooms are a great accommodation. The amenities such as the gym and lounge area well kept and always available.
Love the environment! Just a nice community to be in. Office staff are friendly and the free services are great. The gym is well taken care of
This is a good college community with a lot of fun activities. It is quiet, so it's easy to study. Maintenance requests are easy to submit, and they usually come within a day or two.
Safe department to leave, quick maintenance. This is my second year live here, and I will renew for next year also. Strongly recommended to leave at the pointe if you prefer apartment over a townhouse and prefer have your own bathroom.
Though I don't feel like there are alot of events to meet people my overall experience with management and staff is great. I love when they have food in the club house and when there are events
It is nice and quite, and eveyone is really helpful. The gum and computer room are really convenient.
The apartments are really clean as well.
Living at the pointe was very comfortable. It's definitely way cheaper than living on campus since you have your own bedroom and bathroom. And it's pretty close to walmart and other stores like segments. Nice experience
Cozy, safe place to live with affordable rates. Neighbors are friendly. Great amenities - gym, computer lab, pool, recreation room, etc. Close to Walmart and other stores for convenience.
When I first moved in some things were not as clean as I would have hoped, but overall compared to other places it was a lot better. The rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable and maintenance crew is amazing!!!!
The apartments themselves were a bit mesy in move in and my sink kept leaking however staff was very considerate and spent a lot of time trying to help me.
I came into my apartment through The Pointe's roommate matching and I was surprised and pleased with the my new roommates. It made transitioning to a new apartment on my own much easier.
The apartment complex is great to live in. The pool, gym, nachos and popcorn all make it a welcoming place. However, the cleanliness of the rooms could be improved. Our apartment has repeatedly asked to have our air vents and sprinklers cleaned because we truly believe they are a health and safety hazard and it is week 8 and they have yet to be cleaned.
Good place to live. Close to campus and the bus pass is provided. Has a good gym for apartments and the rooms are nice for the price. Basically everything is what you would expect it to be.
Pretty nice place, quiet and has nice amenities. Friendly staff, good transport options to campus and near to Walmart as well. Affordable rent.
The Pointe is a good bang for your buck. The move in process is super easy and the apartments are spacious, some heavy cleaning is needed when you move in.
I like living at the pointe its fund because all my friends live close by and you guys have the little nacho bar thats really fun also. You guys should add a hot tub or a sauna
My apartment its really been comfortable and enough for me to live I really like how the space is distributed and overall is a really good place. Plus I love how the whole community is mantain.
I really like the amenities that are offered such as the pool, computer lab, gym, game room, tanning bed, ect. It is also really nice to have your own personal bedroom and bathroom. Appliances could use some updating and apartments could be cleaned better upon move in.
Very clean and convenient apartment complex. The staffs are fast and helpful. Most importantly, the rate is much lower than other places. Highly recommended
I decided to live at the Pointe because of the four bedroom and four bathroom accommodation. I love living here mostly for that reason. Aside from that, the community is great and its never too noisy.
I love it here. It’s a little far from campus but we have a bus that takes us directly there and not to mention everything we need shopping wise is right beside us.
The atmosphere at the Pointe is great. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Our apartment is in great shape and is a great value compared to some other apartments at State College. Glad we resigned.
Great place to live, if there are any problems, the office is always quick to respond! Nice that it's a little bit away from campus so it's like an oasis
Really enjoy living here. I enjoy all of the different amenities that are present in my apartment. My room mates are cool too they do not suck
Great Overall. Love all the equipments and utilities! The indoor basketball court is one of the greatest! Wonderful views. It's just a little bit noisy on weekends.
The neighborhood is quiet, with stores and restaurants conveniently located. The maintenance team and staff are awesome and quick to respond to any questions and issues.
I love the pointe. I love its facility and how i have my bathroom in my room. maintenance needs some work though. there are some parts of my room that needs repair.
It is the third year that I am living here. The overall quality is good. However, the facilities in our apartment seems pretty old and it takes time for repair.
The community is a great place to live. There is enough parking for everyone and the apartments are spacious and I really enjoy having my own bedroom and bathroom. I also like the fact that each apartment has a washing machine and a dryer, it makes washing my clothes very easy and stress free.
The Pointe is a fantastic place to live! The apartments are clean and spacious, the staff is always helpful, and free food is provided often! I could not ask for a better place to call home!
Great place to live, relatively quiet and awesome accommodations. I wasn't entirely sure about the whole apartment thing after living in the dorms, but it worked out and I love it.
It's ok I guess. I would like to say that the third floor of the apartments are absolutely filthy. I'm talking about the walkways of course.
I think the Pointe is a very nice and comfortable place to live in State College. The amenities given to us are very nice as well as the comfortable living spaces.
I like the surrounding environment and how I am close to the bus stop. Nice facility and staff members. So complaints so far. Hope to live here next year
I have had a really good experience here at The Pointe. The size of the apartment is great, the clubhouse is well kept and it has a good atmosphere. However, taking the bus everyday is the only downside.
The Pointe is a good place to live. The staff seems to honestly care and want to help you. The location is a bit away from State College, but the bus or a car fixes that. The apartments are good and even if you don't like your roommate you wont really notice them unless you go out of your way.
My experience at the Pointe is great. I enjoy living and having my own personnel bathroom. The pointe is not that far from campus and it is close to Walmart.
I like living here because I don't have to live on campus. If I could change something it would be that it should be easier to only live here for half a year
I like the 24 hour open gym and computer lab. The taco and hot dog providing every week is great. I hope we could have more activities in the future.
I love living at the Pointe! It is close to campus and other amenities and shopping. It makes living here very easy. If anything, the buses don't run by often enough and there are no elevators to upper apartments.
in general good enough. The bus station is just in front of the office, and it is just 10 minutes to the campus and 5 minutes to Walmart and Panera.
Making the change to moving to The Pointe was incredible. Everyone has been so helpful here. Everything is so clean and accessible. It really feels like a community here.
It is a nice place to live at.Very clean, not noisy at all, Good furniture, Gym and the pool are all great add ons.Just wish it were cheaper for us broke college students
I love living here. The rooms are nice and the amenities are worth the price of rent. The apartments themselves are very nice. I have even received compliments from some of my friends. Maintenance does a very good job fixing major problems quickly. The staff are very outgoing and try to help you as best as possible.
I really enjoy having my own room and bathroom in a convenient location, not too far away from campus. The office and maintenance staff respond in a timely manner and are always looking to improve the resident experience here.
Overall, it's very nice. Only complaint is some neighbors are a little loud, but besides it's very nice. Nice internet, nice rooms, great overall.
I like how there’s always something going on. The people in the office are friendly and they always have the answer to any questions I have. My family agrees and thinks I picked a great place to live this year!
Awesome community amenities. Nice rooms. Great place to live if you're looking for off campus housing. The CATAbus really is a convienient thing to have as well.
The only thing that can make it better is if all the appliances were in better shape, and if maintenance requests would be accepted/completed faster.
I love living here Its always so nice and welcoming and there are so many ammenenties that make it worth being here. I definitely love it here
The Pointe is a nice apartment complex. I transferred from Penn State Abington and it’s not as modern as College Station but I do like that we each get our own bathrooms and the size of the rooms are decent.
The office is as responsive as they can be, and provide spaces for public use. The appearance of the property is fairly well kept, and even is being improved. Cool to hear about possible renovations!
First time being off-campus, and it's been great so far! There are so many amenities available here for me, and with the price I'm paying for, it's well worth it! It's nice to be close to Walmart, have a washer and dryer in our unit, and have my own room. I definitely see myself living here again next year!
maintenance is quick about repairs. I just wish that they had cleaned the apartments better. i also wish they had a more easy going pet policy.
The apartment is very pleasant, but could stand some nicer furniture. The pool would get more usage if it were heated. Sidewalks from the entrance to the complex to the first building would also be nice.
Good that you could get a private room and bathroom. Got plenty of space to put your clothes, too. Community atmosphere is outgoing during the semesters.
Maintenance service is relatively slow, and rooms might be dirty and defective-heaven on move-in if you are unlucky.
I love the environment and the people at the pointe! They also respond extremelly well to new maintenance requests me and my roommates put in.
I loved staying in the Pointe as it makes transferring easy with the buses coming so frequently. I also live the facilities that it offers like gum, basketball court, ...etc.
The pointe is a great place to live. The apartments are beautiful and maintenance is fast and efficient. It has been a great experience so far for me.
Overall, it has been okay living at the Pointe. I enjoy having a private bedroom and bathroom. The apartments could be maintained in a much better condition though. Free nachos are nice.
I really love living here. This is my second year living here and have chosen to stay because the apartment is a good location and the maintenance is great.
Great community and great apartment. it's convenient for student who don't have roommates and needs to be pair up with roommates. Give you choices and preferences to choice your best roommates.
Community environment is great. Landscape is kept clean. Maintenance and management are quick and polite. Lots of helpful and useful benefits.
I really enjoy living at The Pointe, but there are a bunch of small things that are annoying. For example, when they do inspections, they never actually check your apartment during the provided dates, making it super annoying. Their sidewalks are also really inconvenient for people who live towards the back of the property.
So far my experience here has been great, with the exception of using old appliances. My neighbors are great. The staff is great. Maintenance is great and fast.
Living here is nice and it's easy to make friends and is in a nice location, but the bus is so terrible half of the time I have to skip my 9 am class becuase the bus fills.
Choosing the pointe was a great choice. I love the way the apartment is set and how every tenant has their own bathroom, but then we also have the communal kitchen and living room area.
Super automated, groundskeepers work constantly, only issue is occasional work orders, which get fixed extremely quickly as well. I love it here!
It is a fun and nice place to live. There are various amenities that we can use and the staff is friendly and makes living here very enjoyable
I enjoy the living quarters and area of the Pointe. Overall, it offers a nice pool, decent, gym, basketball court, volleyball net, and grilling station that is easily accessible to residents. My only negative feedback is the lack of visitor parking spots and delayed bus system.
It's a great living experience with a bedroom that includes a private bathroom. Plus all the furniture and appliances are included. It's a good place for college students.
The place offers a very friendly environment with well rounded facility. The condition of the apartment is new and spacious plus everyone is ensured of the safety.
What a great place to live where I can have my own room and my own bathroom where I don’t have to deal with others sho might jot be as clean as I am.
Overall, the Pointe is a good place to live. It is away from campus which allows it to be more quiet than if someone were to live downtown. Offering everyone their own bathroom is one of the best features of living here.
I really enjoyed the community so far. everyone is very friendly and my neighbors are very nice. everyone is quiet for the most part and i like that a lot.
Things have been good so far. Neighbors aren't loud, the community activities and giveaways have been nice too. However, I would like if there were more activities.
The complex is really great! It's clean and upon request they fix anything damaged. Only complaint would be that there is no hot tub and the gym is kinda small.
My friend caonimalegebi invited me to be a residence in pointe. Although the room is smail but the utility is good enough. It's a quite place that no one is having party even in the weekend
The apartment is nice but it seems to need a few things replaced after a while because they were poorly fixed. All the amenities are nice and the area is great.
I love to love in this place but there is a couple things that can be change for a little bit more... When we move in, I reported that my room is not as clean as it was, the wall is yellowish and slippery in the bathroom but it has past the move-in days and no one can help me on those. It is Kinnda disappointed for that. Although we have one Roomate from the previous semester, you did not provide a clean room for the next residence in other rooms. I know there is a rule saying that you will change the carpet only if there is whole new family live in here but isn't it a responsibility to make a home clean for your customers? It should be discussed, make your customers rely on your service and fall in love in your community!
The pointe is a great community with helpful staff and quick maintanence. They're very cutreous to those who have renewed their leases and are always willing to listen to you. The appliances are getting old however when they break the apartment complex quickly replaces them with an updated model.
our apartment have a big swimming pool and good looking grass. the daily living is very suitable and easy, it is a wonderful experience to apply this apartment
One of the best places I've lived. Staff is very friendly, but some off the appliances are out dated. Overall I would love here again if I had the opportunity.
omg what an amazing application makes living so simple for me and my roomies haha !!!!!! love love love simple bills i will use it for the next 3 years
The pointe is a great place to live and is in a great location of everything at penn state.I would recomend the pointe to anyone who wants to focouse on school while still having fun.
I have not yet lived in the community, as my lease has not started. However, I will say, paying the rent so far in advance (July 15th) when I am not even allowed to move in until halfway through August is somewhat ridiculous, as is the $299 service fee.
I really enjoy living here. You have your own bedroom and bathroom. Everyone here is really friendly! I would highly recommend living here :)
They provide a really fast and spontaneous response union registration and sign of lease contract. Little stress encountered in making the lease contract.
Great apartment complex and gave out great amenities. Just not a 5-star because I had difficulty with subletting and early termination. Would recommend to friends!
Good management and efficient use of resources. Facilities are very accessible except the pool table that lacks pool sticks. Otherwise a very cool place to live
Decent but not too bad. I still have mold in my bathroom which hasnt been cleaned and I put it in the maintenence a while ago. This is my final year here
Wished there were more spots for visitor parking. Overall, I think this is a great apartment complex with your own bathroom. I hope the equipments for playing pool and table tennis were also available after office hours.
I loved living at the pointe apartments for the past 2 years. I have had very few issues during my time here and all requests were handled professionally
i think you guys should have more events for the students at the point, preferably thing that involve food. i think you should try to bring out the bouncy houses and bon fires and games. Just events that get the residents excited about being her and would recommend there friends to come stay here
The apartmens have nice exterior and interior. I love that every bedroom has their own personal bathroom. The living and kitchen area is nice and home like.
One suggestion I have for community events is to have food for a diverse population. Often times I have noticed that at events like pool party, there is no vegetarian food available so a lot of people cannot eat anything. I think the food should be inclusive of a diverse population of students living at the Pointe.
I never visited but it looks fine I signed my lease without even seeing the place. The application fee was a lot. I feel like the rent is high also but you get a lot for that price.
I really like the gym and the free tanning and I am so excited to be living there next year! The pool is also going to be a huge plus for when it is warm out!
Limited parking, and walls are thin and doors let in the cold air, but the people and staff are kind and repairs are done very quickly. I enjoy the updated gym and talking with staff is easy
A comfortable place to live with a helpful staff and a multitude of amenities(pool, gym, parking, wifi, cable, water/trash/sewer) especially in a college town.
Environment and community are comfortable and great. The rooms are actually small compare to other communities in this area. Acceptable price for this amount of space should be $580-600. The rate is too high for next year.
This apartment complex is the best in state college. There are loads of amenities along with various activities throughout the year hosted by The Pointe. Maintenance is super quick and the overall atmosphere is just great.
So far The Pointe has been a great place to live. They have done a really good job of making sure the sidewalks are clear and salted, so that students can get to the bus stop.
The Pointe has been a great place for my roommates and me to live for the past two years. It is a great complex really conveniently located by Walmart. Love it!
The Pointe is a great community. Signing up and the lease process was not a hassle at all and I am looking forward to living here in August.
For the most part my complaints come from some bad work on sidewalks when snow and ice came around, as well as my apartment not really having sealed windows and doors. I do like the events when they are held though.
A great and quite community. Most residents are polite and friendly. The environment in the Pointe is really nice. Indeed, it is great experience to live here.
Overall a very nice place to live if you don't mind being a drive from campus. The amenities and privacy are a plus. The only real issue we had was some maintenance issues took awhile to be resolved, but staff was always very friendly and helpful when they did arrive.
Overall, the Pointe is a great off-campus apartments to live in where one can enjoy basic amenities and personal bathroom space in their apartments. The maintenance service is great because most of the issues are resolved the next day. One thing that is downside is the increasing cost of the apartment complex.
the pointe is a fantastic community, a very quiet environment with a friendly staff and great amenities. whether youre trying to get work done or relax at the pool, the pointe has it all
I really enjoy living here. You have your own bedroom and bathroom. Everyone here is really friendly! I would highly recommend living here :)
Good application experience, easy fill out forms and lease signing technologies. Emails were glitchy, for some reason the system thought I cancelled my application. Otherwise well done.
This has been a great experience so far! My first semester at State college and The Pointe has been very helpful with transitioning. The customer service and reliablity is astounding.
Exceeds expectations in almost all aspects. Fast and reliable maintenance staff. Only thing I would change is allowing access through pool area even though it is closed so that residents do not have to walk completely around the building to get to their apartments.
The proximity to campus and the facilities are great. The closeness to places like Walmart and other shopping stores makes life so much more convenient.
I enjoy living at the pointe. The palooza they host are very fun. I have gone to all of the ones since I've lived here and I keep on coming every time. The staff is kind and friendly.
So good so far! I just hope this is rewarding as it sounds. Excited to wear points and score awesome deals while doing it! Will probably read the "about us" tab to get a better sense of this program
This place is amazing, they take care of you so well. The amenities are incredible and the price is so reasonable. Between the included cable and Internet, private bathrooms for all, one time fee for all the fun stuff they do plus the bus pass, you couldn't ask for more.
Best place to live. Interesting placing around like TJmaxx, best buy, staples, Target, Kohls. Places to eat like Panera bread, Moes, Apple bee's, Olive Garden. Private bedroom and private bathroom. Free bus pass and parking.
Noise levels during the week are always at a minimum which is very nice because you never have to worry about sleep. Also maintenance always arrives on time so you never have to worry about broken objects for long. The fire alarms are overly sensitive though.
Don't agree with the flooring change, I feel that it increases the noise level in all of the the apartment, but overall good, and I love it!
Very friendly environment. Everyone is very helpful and patient. I've been very impressed with all of the activities and opportunities the Pointe gives for meeting people and getting out there.
The apartment itself is fairly spacious, has decent bathrooms and the privacy and noise level is great. The kitchen appliances are newer as well, and the roommate matching system is ok, too. The resident manager is great to work with if there is a problem, and most of the time, maintenance gets the job done within 2-3 days. It is unfair that despite paying the same price, some beds are memory foam, while others are springs, and there is not enough light in the rooms.
Living at the Pointe is great. There is a gym, pool, and a friendly office. It is a quiet community and there are never any problems when it comes to having something fixed or taken care of.
The apartment is in relatively good condition although the bathroom at times grows mold in various locations despite use of the ventilation system. Otherwise the support from the staff is good and the apartment is in good shape.
I dont have anything negative to say except the escalating prices for rent each year. We are studets, on a student budget. It is inhumane to try to take advantage of that.
The pointe is a great apartment complex. The poinet a palooza was really fun and the amenities are very cool. I enjoyed the new gym and the grills and the pool area.
The Pointe is a great place to live. It has so many commodities for its residents, and the staff is nice. Also, the maintenance service is quick and reliable.
the equipment is great but the room is a little bit small. Besides, I think the window in the bedroom is very small and I believe a larger window would work better.
I enjoy the bus stop, the gym, pool, mail, the free bagels and coffee. I think the image the Pointe displays is nice. I wish the apartments were a bit more updated, driving responsibly was enforced, and quite hours were enforced. Also I hate how people leave trash outside their apartment for over a week.
I enjoy my stay here. The environment and reliability of everything here is nice. I think overall this is a great deal and the best option for me.
I love the fact that everyday the pointe has some type of opportunity for you to earn free food. They understand that we are college students and it gets hard financially.
I overall enjoyed my experience. Any time I needed help the office and the staff there were very helpful and reached the resolution very efficiently
I had a great time this year living in the 4 bedroom 4 bathroom apartment. Really loved the weekly promotions. Would've been great if the rocks in our backyard would be removed for a lot of injuries have happened because of its presence.
Pretty well, have no complaints. Maintenance requests are fulfilled promptly, nice lawn upkeep, like the events. The apartment itself is a little run down, we could use a new couch and chair, they are basically unusable.
I've been living here almost one year, and I think the total quality is good and I love my roommates which is automatically match by the pointe office. I'm happy and satisfy.
best place to live. Close to almost everything like walmart, weis, giants, bowling center, and other shopping places. free printing service.
The environment is great. I love the private living room and restroom we can have in our apartment. We have more VE bus this semester which is great, but V bus always arrives late. I signed the pointe's lease by subleasing from someone else. I am sad that my restroom is not clean when I first moved to my place. I called the pointe office but the person on the phone sad that is the responsibilities of the people who I subleased from to clean the room. I really hope the pointe can improve in this part. Please clean the room for every new resident.
The living arrangements are great- just wish there were more areas for garbage disposals, more visitors parking, more covered parking, and more parking in general.
I like to live in the pointe, they have private bathroom, good facility such as gym, etc, transportation like bus is good, and close to walmart
I think the living experience so far has been good overall. I like the weekly food offerings at office especially nachos, wish they nachos were every Tuesday. I like how there are many amenities for residents to use and take advantage from. However, I think the pool sticks and
The pointe is a great place to live! It is quite, clean, and very convenient. I love the pool, gym, and all the running paths and bike trail that are near by.
I love that The Pointe gives away free snacks for the residents during the week, I think that is just what college students need. I also like how quickly the maintenance workers come and how nice they are in explaining what they are doing and why they are doing it.
Overall, my biggest complaint is the location. Whenever we have had a problem, you seem to come within 24 hours to address our maintenance requests.
I think the Pointe is doing a really good job. They make sure your needs are met. If you ever have any problems, they take care of it. I enjoy living here.
The maintenance is on point. I was facing issues with some appliances and I had the team come in less than 24 hours to fix them. I also appreciate the change of the living room couch after it's legs started getting wobbly.
Overall the environment of the apartments is nice. I enjoy the fact that I have my own bedroom and bathroom, that is very important to me. However, I feel that the management in subpar and does not care for their residents as much as they should.
apartments are well kept and staff is always friendly. each time I have interacted with staff they have handled my concerns in a timely fashion. really wish there was more visitor parking though
I thought that the pointe had great prices and benefits! Only bad part is the spaces for parking there is never enough. I also did not like how some of the maintenance took forever but I would defiantly recommend someone!
I really like it here! Everyone is super nice and always there to help me out! The. Office renevations are great looks better. The gym is my favorite!
The Pointe is a fine place to live if you don't mind being pretty far from campus. The amenities like the tanning, gym and pool are very nice, and the rooms are much larger than anything you find near campus. Having a private bathroom is a blessing, too! In my experience, maintenance requests can take from several days up to a week to be filled, but ours were never extremely serious problems. Overall, a fine place to live with some nice amenities.
